Film Making as in Docies, not Hollywood Stuff or even NollyWood (crap) by the way, NollyWood is the Nigerian Film industry, incase u didn't know, lol

    Nollywood (crap)..........we need to take lessons from Nollywood the great thing about their industry is that they make films that are aimed at their own industry.
    not like most south african films that are tryin to attract international audiances, sometimes leaving good south afrcan actors out of the picture. i was so disappointed to hear that a iconic movie is gettin made and the main character is American( to play mandela).
    we need to make product that are Truely Proudly South African and not make duplicates!

    viva nollywood! viva self-sufficiency! lilji25, i understand your thoughts but i must agree with twiggle stix. nollywood film makers are not concerned with the litmus test that is the west. we have an audience right here at home. just like bollywood, and today they're making more movies than hollywood.

    The reason why i say Nollywood crap is because :
    These guys have been making movies for quite sometime now, and i think they have the finance to produce atleast 1 or 2 better films.
    each new film produced looks exactly like the previous one!
    sound , picture quality are a complete disaster!!

    lilji25 makes a good point. nollywood has been at this for a long time yet the quality is horrendous. and what is with the scenes where a person does nothing but clean the house for 10 minutes. 10 real life minutes!

    that said at least they have a thriving industry telling their stories.film

    I watch atleast two of Nigerian movies everyday, even if their quality is no that perfect, those guys really represent their country and Africa as a whole. Big ups.

    an hour and a half later, when you think all the possible storylines have been exhausted -- they're not
    an hour and a half later -- still on

    nollywood fleeks are hillarious, even their dramas. i'd love to see a nollywood slasher fleek
