is faith sumn forced upon us by our parents? i grew up in a house where no kid will be left at home while the elders are at church, went to catholic schools n stuff- if there was a catholic creche i wudv been taken to one. when i now have the choice after movin out, i find i dont go to church that often. is it wrong?

Religion/ faith is a lifestyle.
Once you are your own boss, you can do what you like with it.
It's like how your parents will teach you to respect your elders, always keep a clean house, never drink out of a carton, don't eat off the wooden spoon. It's a lifestyle that you are taught. Once you move into your own place, you may only use glasses for visitors, you may eat your whole dinner out of a pot, and tell Nkgono wa ko next-door to sh*ve her advice.
It's not an oppression, it is a brace/mould that your guardian will supply. what you do with it when you come of age is between you and your God(s).
