  2. Buchu

    Did u do the effect in camera
    or in post?

    With camera;

    It's flash+lens+longish-exposure;

    In this case 1" exposure; full zoom-in (or compose subject); shoot with flash; then zoom-out fully whilst the 'film/sensor' is exposed;

    First time I did was here: http://sinah.org/2006/09/04 then tried to perfect with this: http://sinah.org/2007/07/30

    I am still to decide which is the better way, there is ways and what exposure is good (but it all depends on your speed of zooming in and out quickly — being drunk helps sometimes)

    1. full-zoom out; shoot (with flash); then zoom-in or
    2. full-zoom in; shoot (with flash); then zoom-out.

    *but I suppose if I could tell the camera when to fire the flash, that would be interesting.

    aaaah.... so that's how you do these images! Great photo, amazing choice of moment and composition, intense expression (both artistic and facial).

  5. Buchu

    nice technique.
    i have done some similar stuff with my "muk-end-druk" cybershot.
    Might upload

    RHCFOTO

    know u can't tell the camera to when to flash but you can tell it to flash twice - on shutter open and close. Canon menu -custom functions - shutter curtain sync - 2nd curtain sinc. nice work

    I didn't know 'bout that — interesting.

  7. Khumbelo
