peace good lookin´...
twiggle stix: uhm not sure how i got it ¨right¨ [i´m still in the process]...
uhm the story - this was at a gig organised by a collective called ¨silvah kneedle¨ [they of the ¨basemental platform¨ fame] in yeoville at a spot called the ¨basement¨...
this is around 2004 or so...one of those gigs done in blind faith & unshaken belief [the two go horribly well most times] in the letter of ´independence´ & hip-hop activism...throwing down the gauntlet and taking charge of certain things which could very well at first glance look as impediments...
off-course things never really go as planned [low audience turn-out, less door takings, bad sound, more men than women attendance etc...you get the drift]...the picture reminds me of times gone by where the potential to move mountains was available as the lighting in this image, not so much the execution though...
i still dug it though - the guts/grits to just do sh*t..faded intentions i suppose cause well goals set where not quite achieved, the memory itself feels like a blurr, kinda like the image...
the contrast of emotion between the chaps in the picture; the one in the foreground is got a smile and is out-of-focus, whereas homie in the back is in-focus [albeit soft] and his got a bit more of a muted expression, serious as it where...
they continue on in different guises involved in the music...

#this was shot on an 1600 iso film, with some deft-ish photoshop moves...
